Due to huge demand we are trying to acquire additional aircraft to enable all interested parties to attend.
Join Us The First Almat Flying Academy Fly-Out
Our first Almat Flying Academy fly-out is scheduled for 2nd March 2019. This’ll be a great chance to join a group of us on a trip Duxford, where we’ll visit Britain’s largest aviation museum. This is a fantastic social and flying opportunity.
Prior to departure, we’ll have a group pre-flight briefing and hot drinks. On arrival, we’ll visit Duxford Museum where you can walk through the same hangars and buildings as those who served at RAF Duxford. See aircraft take to the skies from the airfield that Spitfires first flew and get up close to over a century of aviation with hundreds of aircraft and objects on display.
Students and license-holders alike are welcome to come, and we’ll be able to pair people with instructors, other pilots and students to fly with.
Email Simon on firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 02477 220 399 to book your place and for more information.
Almat Flying Academy is based at Dakota House. We’ve built a modernised, well equipped clubhouse with a combined study, planning and social area featuring the amenities you can expect in 2019: Coffee, High Speed WiFi, Printing, Air Conditioning alongside all the traditional expectations.
The open day takes place Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th January 2019, but please do visit us any time. We always welcome members to say hello and we’d absolutely invite you to bring your family/friends.
To find us, come through the same West Gate as Almat Aviation, but follow the internal road to the left and look out for the Almat Flying Academy signs, leading you to the L3 building. We’re just a minute’s walk from the pedestrian gate in the lower car park next to Hangar 6.
