Personal data is used in reference to any information we hold that may identify you directly, (for example your name, bank details), and any information that may indirectly identify you (through connection with other information we hold).

If you are/were an Almat Aviation Limited member, they may have contacted you, and upon obtaining your consent, given the following information to us which we have collected:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number

Should any of the information we hold about you change, we may request that you provide us with updated information.

Usage of your personal data

We will use your personal data for the following reasons:

To fulfil our contractual responsibilities to you:

  • As defined in our agreements, deliver our products and services to you

Sharing your information

We may share your information with the following categories of third-parties:

  • IT and Telecommunications service providers to allow us to manage and host our IT systems
  • Social Media platforms, to allow us to respond to enquiries/requests you make
  • Debt collection agencies, to allow us to collect any outstanding debts from you
  • Government and aviation authorities, including the Civil Aviation Authority and all aerodrome authorities, to allow us to support any enquiries/requests you may have, and to continuously improve aviation safety
  • Payment processors to collect payments from you
  • Marketing agencies to help us generate marketing content that is relevant to you

We use a third party payment processor,  ‘Stripe’ to take payments from customers via our website and telephone. If you make an order via our website or sign up for a membership, your payment information will be collected by Stripe. They act both as a data processor and controller. Storage and Security

Your data will be stored within the European Economic Area (EEA), but we may have to share your data with third parties outside of the EEA. If we do share your information with third parties outside of the EEA, we will take measures to safeguard your information and comply with relevant legislation governing this data sharing.

We have implemented a number of technical measures and business processes to ensure the continuous protection of your personal data. We limit access to your personal data to only those employees that require access to your information, and have trained these employees about the protection, and importance of safeguarding of your information.

We will retain your personal data for as long as required to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Data Privacy Policy and for as long as we have deemed necessary to exercise or defend our legal rights.
