It is open to members of any other Aviation club or training centre. We have all of the study material needed available to purchase in book or ebook format should you need it. These are chargeable at the current retail prices and are not included in the course price.

Pre Entry Requirements
There is a 30 hour self study requirement and a pre attendance entry exam, to ensure you are already at a suitable standard to complete the course.
Accommodation is provided by the Bagginton Oak next door to the airport, costs are not included in the course price. Bookings to be made via the Oak directly on 02746 518855, quote ALMAT01 to get your booking discount.
The CAA recommends at least 45 hours of ground school teaching so Almat has a clear advantage over most schools, which have self-study as the only option available. It is also a good way to meet your fellow students.
We also do short ground school training.
