Flying lessons at Halfpenny Green are convenient for those living in the West Midlands Area. Closest towns and cities include Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Dudley, Kingswinford and Bridgnorth. Open seven days a week, Halfpenny Green (known locally as Ha’penny Green) is one of the most active General aviation airfields in the UK. Offering an excellent aviation environment for student and licensed pilots. Including hard and grass runways and excellent on site facilities. As a based operator we can fly out of hours. Pilot activated runway lighting is available for night flying. There is full FISO Air Traffic Service. Ther airspace is also less restricted than our previous location at Coventry, which makes flight training easier.
It is also perfect for visitors, with free parking and Amelias Bar & Restaurant offering an excellent location for food, drink and viewing of the airfield and runway. Perfect if you are bringing family of friends. There is also ample open space, outdoor seating and walking areas. Dogs are also welsome on site. Please note for practical reasons we can only permit 1 other person accompanying a trial flying lesson into our building.

By Road
For sat-nav, use Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport, Crab Lane, Stourbridge, DY7 5DY. The airport is best reached by car via the regional motorway network: M5 for visitors coming from Birmingham, Worcester, Bristol or the South West; M6/M54 for those travelling from the North West, Staffordshire, Shropshire or North Wales; and M40/M42/M5 for those coming from London, Oxford or the South East. Once off the motorway, expect the final part of the journey to be on local A-roads and rural lanes around Bobbington, so allow extra time and check live traffic before setting off.
By Train
The nearest train station is Stourbridge Junction. From there you would need to take a taxi (just over 20 minutes drive in normal traffic).
