Cancellation Policy & FEEs

The following policy defines the cancellation fees and when they may be applied as of 11th October 2024.

  1. All customer-initiated cancellations incur a £10 administration fee regardless of the reason and must be emailed at least 3 working days in advance to avoid further charges. Phone or in-person cancellations are not accepted.
  2. Sickness: In the event of sickness you must notify us at the earliest opportunity. Only the £10 admin fee will be charged.
  3. Almat Cancellations: No fee is charged if Almat cancels due to weather or other reasons.
  4. Fees: £60 per 90 minute slot for cancellations with less than 3 working days’ notice
  5. Weather: For dual flights, only instructors can decide if a booking is cancelled due to weather. Refusing alternative lessons or ground training may still result in a charge.
  6. Excessive Cancellations: Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in suspension or termination of membership or agreements.
  7. Lost Flight Time: Full or partial fees apply if lessons are disrupted by late arrivals, missing documents (e.g., medical certificates), required equipment, or lack of preparation, leading to lost flight time.
