Flight Experience Special Terms

We are only able to operate experience flights on the following basis according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) document “Introductory Flights – Guidance to Operators”.

  1. The customer is a passenger only (although they may be sitting in the front of the aircraft (right hand seat) and  won´t get hands on control at any point in the flight. These flights are not a replacement or equivalent of a trial lesson. If you want hands on control, book a trial lesson instead.
  2. The pilot will be an experienced PPL or LAPL licence holder, they will not necessarily be a flight instructor.
  3. We can only take off and land from our base at Coventry.
  4. Flights can be no more than an 60 minutes, but in any case will not last any longer than advertised.
  5. No flight time can be logged for training purposes / towards a pilot licence.
  6. Flights are conducted during daylight hours only.
