PPL / LAPL At Your Own Pace

For most people time and money are the biggest barrier to learning to fly. This flexible method of learning allows you to fit your training around your time and financial commitments. You can train towards both LAPL (Light Aeroplane Pilots Licence) or PPL (Private Pilots Licence).

The benefits:

  • No up front costs other than your monthly membership
  • Pay after each lesson
  • Better suited to those flying from an average disposable income
  • Better suited to those with irregular or lower time availability
  • Allows you to set the pace of training to suit you

Although we provide the structure of the course, you are able to attend as and when you are free, so has a very flexible approach, that does require some student discipline to ensure that you have planned sufficiently to get the best from the course.

Drawbacks:

  • Usually takes longer to complete the course on this basis
  • Has a higher drop out rate than a Fast Track Course
  • Usually requires more flying hours generally than a Fast Track approach
  • Generally costs more money in the long run than a Fast Track approach, due to increased hours
  • Lesser continuity of training due to increased training time
